Chair 8
Simpl design chair designed by Luigi Caccia Dominioni in 1989, released by Cassina.
Characteristics
Luigi Cacci Dominioni draws the chair number 8 in 1989, consisting of a slender structure and very light ash wood, which by nature is very flexible. Despite appearances, the chair is very durable due to the wide spacing between the legs, it even says that it has been tested knocking her from the fourth floor of a building. Among the special features: the back that bends at the top to accommodate the seated body and the seat made of an unusual material, cane pigs, typical of Chiavari chair, dating from the early nineteenth century in which is inspired.
Model - Details
The chair is made with a composite seat cuboid central and Bezier surfaces on the four upper corners slightly rounded to give the effect of the seat cushion. The legs are obtained through BEZIER, enough for the front of the profile instead of the six lines to the rear eight line due to the fact that the tilt and swivel. The pegs side of the chair are obtained simply with the CUBOID, rather than through the backs of the curves due to the fact that they are rounded.
Below, some images of the chair made by me.
